For more than 18 years, Vite has been a part of America’s industrial and maritime history. Our story begins in 2007, when Robert Allen Thompson merged the two biggest American steamship companies of the day.
One Man’s Vision
Back in 2007, I started Vite Secured Delivery with a clear goal: to make shipping smarter, safer, and more dependable for everyday people and growing businesses. It began with me — a single truck, a lot of hustle, and a belief that good service could still be personal.
After seeing how unreliable and slow some local deliveries could be, I knew there had to be a better way. So I built Vite on three things: speed, security, and service. No cutting corners, no lost packages — just consistent, reliable delivery people could actually count on.
Over the years, we’ve grown, expanded our fleet, adopted real-time tracking, and built a strong team that shares the same passion for getting things right. Whether it’s a small parcel or a time-sensitive shipment, Vite Secured Delivery delivers with purpose — just like we did on day one.
